Doug Berman is a professor at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, executive director of its Drug Enforcement and Policy Center, and a leading national voice on sentencing law. His Sentencing Law and Policy blog has been required reading in the field for two decades.

He joined the 2025 "Pardons & Expungement" panel alongside Mark Osler and Rachel Barkow.
